Learning new skills that will enable us to find work even on a temporary basis became the result of the financial crisis that lead to difficulty of finding employment. Since I have a lot of debt to pay, I know that I have to look for other moneymaking schemes, such as freelancing jobs. Actually even the writing projects that I have accepted still cannot help me make my ends meet. Even if it requires me to learn and use softwares such as MAYA and Photoshop, I accepted graphic design projects to boost my income.
I relied on the internet for any books and articles that will supply me any information on how to use the MAYA and Photoshop since I do not have any money to spend on certificate courses. The books and articles do not provide any visual aids on how to use the softwares despite reading them over and over. I know that video tutorials can only supply me the exact methods and procedures I need to master, the same with the use of the tabs and other functions of the programs. Good thing I found CGTube.net in one of the popular social networking sites. My cousin’s friend also used video tutorials from CGTube to learn more about Photoshop and other similar software.
I was quite anxious about CGTube.net at first. I was able to join their forum, where you can ask people about topics related to animation and other computer programs on graphics and design to lessen my anxiety. Sure enough, I was able to find Maya tutorials that I badly needed. There are also several sample videos created by various people. The things I have seen indeed inspired me so much. I may not have any formal training but I am confident enough that I will be able to make simple graphics and animation with the help of CGTube.net.
What I can say is that the Maya tutorials found in the site have really helped me a lot. Right now, some of my friends and new acquaintances already hired me to create graphics and animation for their websites and online marketing campaigns. I am now happy that I have boosted my monthly income using my new skills in animation and graphics software.
